Conrad Macao Cotai Central’s signature Chinese restaurant, Dynasty 8, has recently been honored with “Best of Award of Excellence” for 2016 at Wine Spectator magazine’s annual Restaurant Awards. This is the third year that Dynasty 8 has received such recognition. The distinction by US magazine Wine Spectator is given to restaurants around the world for quality wine list selections and presentation and is awarded at three different levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence, and the Grand Award.

Founded in 1976, Wine Spectator magazine introduced its Restaurant Awards programme in 1981 to review wine lists. The Restaurant Wine List Awards recognize restaurants that offer an interesting selection of wines appropriate to their relevant cuisines, and wine lists that also appeal to a wide range of wine lovers.

Dynasty 8, the signature Chinese restaurant of Conrad Macao, Cotai Central offers a journey embracing thousands of years of culinary wisdom with dishes designed to delight the senses. The home of state-of-the-art, high-end Chinese cuisine evokes a feeling of old world China charm, with eight private dining rooms, each portraying the rich history and decor of one of the eight represented Dynasties: Qin, Han, Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing.

Guests can choose from more than 520 international wines including a selection of wines and spirits from China on Dynasty 8’s award-winning wine list. The restaurant is open Mondays through Fridays, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and 6-11 p.m. (Saturdays and Sundays open at 10 a.m.), seven days a week.

Conrad Macao, Cotai Central offers the popular Conrad Concierge mobile app, which gives global luxury travelers the ability to customize details of their hotel stay before, during, and after each visit via a smartphone or tablet.
