Golden Harbor Authentic Chinese Cuisine

This year’s winner for best Asian cuisine is fairly new on the block, but don’t let that deter you. Opening just last year where Pickles used to be, Golden Harbor Authentic Chinese Cuisine has quickly become a favorite among Asians and non-Asians alike. While the restaurant may be humble (you do have to clear your own dishes and write your own orders), the quality of the food and the enormous (almost overwhelming) menu of hundreds of items ensure that anyone and everyone can leave full and happy.

Besides offering traditional Chinese food options, Golden Harbor’s menu also includes a variety of dishes you won’t be able to find anywhere else in Champaign-Urbana, such as the pork buns (a must try), various duck dishes and clams in black bean sauce. The restaurant is set-up for family style, where you order several dishes for the table and share them.
